Just got my Lure Lightning last week. Very nice! I have it installed on a Vexilar FL-18 Ultra Pack. After taking the grommet out, no problem getting the connections through to the battery compartment. I do need to add a few washers as suggested below in order to tighten down the flashed head.

As far as the light itself goes, it works as advertised. I tested the light compared to an LED flashlight, the Vexilar flex-light, and a keychain glow light. The Lure Lightning vastly outperformed all of them in both glow intensity and duration.

My only regret is not purchasing this last fall. I will be looking forward to getting this out on the ice next year.

Received the light just after new years. Attached it to the side of the FL22HD with the aid of a couple of flat washers. I have the ultra pack, so the light rubs against the housing a little. The washers fixed it up. As for the light and the bottle of glow paint..........AMAZING!!!! I dropped a glow jig down 18ft and BAM!!! A three pound walleye. My wife was fishing in our Clam along side me. "Give me one of those things" was her responce. No bull.....the a couple of minutes after I tied one for her, BAM!!!! same deal. We can only keep one fish over 21 inches on this lake. That pretty much ended our fishing, as these babies were keepers. Thanks Randy! The lads are scratch'n at my shelter to let em in on the secret. I'm havin a hard time with letting the cat out of the bag. I let em know after a few more trips. You deserve the business. Hope these things aren't band by the feds. It's crazy!!!!

Was given to me as a christmas gift and am very impressed with it cant wait to see it used on the ice.

If you buy any Vexilar with the charging terminals in the front drop the battery out the bottom and run the wires to it.Very easy

wow, ordered the light and i got to tell you, the fish will go blind looking at my lures, i thought they glowed before, i was so wrong, this light makes my lures glow in the day light.

Added the lure lightning to my Vexilar FL-22 HD today and am very happy. Quality is excellent, lights up my jigs like nothing else. Thanks for an excellent product..my buddies in Saskatchewan Canada are jealous.

I heard about these lights on ice shanty as well. These really get the jigs glowing.

I heard about this light on IceShanty.com and ran in to you guys at the St Paul Ice Show today. I drilled you pretty hard and had you demonstrate UV light vs LED light vs. your Lure Lightning light. In the end, I purchased one from you. When I got home, I did a little test of my own comparing the LED light I normally use to your light. Your light is amazing! It out glows and outlasts big time! Very happy with my purchase! Thanks for a great product!

Randy, i got my lights yesterday and spent most of the night lighting up my jigs.Now I see what you mean about every color.Did not know i had all these colors.They did not glow with my other lights.Thank you and have a Merry Xmas

This light is bright, well built, and very convenient to use. If you use glow jigs and don't have one, get one. Thanks for a great product.
